The story of St. Patrick is told simply and clearly. This was a nice read and timely for the upcoming St. Patrick's Day holiday.I received a review copy of this ebook from Xist Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Having visited some of the sights associated with Patrick I was excited for this book. It has a sort of Flat Stanley artifice happening, with a peg said wandering around. I don't know that this is a mass-market book. It is more for the religious or St. Patrick obsessed (I guess also the peg doll obsessed.) It was cute, but partly as I was particularly interested in the topic. Good for the Catholic kid on your list.Thanks to NetGallery for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was such a charming, little book. I loved that there were maps, showing Saint Patrick's journey, plus beautifully colored photos, which the story on each page, was describing.I found it so interesting, that there were a few things, that even I didn't know. I think that with the addition of the little pegman, it makes for a very well thought out, and a very educational read for a variety of young readers.
