This is Focus on the Family's BEST audio production-and I have bought quite a few. The cast magnificently portrays the life in first century Palestine. The listener could sense the dangers lurking behind every corner as the young physician attempts to chronicle the life of Jesus. The gospel account is seamlessly and authentically woven into the story, and the reader is left with a unique appreciation for many challenges first century believers experienced as they attempted to live out their faith in the world that hostile to the message of Christ. A Time of Madness is especially riveting. It is a wonderful story. You literally forget that this is a dramatized production as you are drawn into this tale. Buy it for anyone age 9 to 99. Ten stars if I could!
Focus on the Family Radio Theater is a top-notch, creative, and entertaining set of audio CD's that make classic and religious literature come alive. The Luke reports,[actually a series of 4 sets] based on the gospel of Luke, gives an excellent introduction to Luke through drama, and music. It portrays Luke as the apostle following Jesus and recording all the wonders, betrayals, and dangers thatsurrounded Jesus during this time. THis CD would be particularly excellent for middle-school and teen audio pleasure.
Fabulous series. Wonderfully imaginative and intriguing.
Very cool story based on scripture. Helps me get a handle on a possible timeline of the ministry of Christ. And as usual Focus On The Family's Radio Theater does an outstanding job on the production.
I have younger siblings and they had scratched the first set I had. I ordered this one and it worked perfectly. My collection is once again complete.
